5 Ways to Inspire a Pisces Girl to Open Up

Posted by The Pisces Girl in To Be A Pisces on Wednesday May 4, 2011

Getting a Pisces girl to open up to you can sometimes feel like trying to knock down a brick wall with your head. In general, she tends to enter relationships with extreme caution and is not so keen on letting her guard down until she feels completely safe with the other person.

For many admirers, one of the biggest challenges they face in the beginning is getting their Pisces crush to open up to them. Many have tried and failed, giving up frustrated before they ever win the prize. It’s just the way it goes. But for the rest, the rewards can be great.

Beneath that veil of a nonchalant demeanor lies the heart of a deeply sensitive spirit. When she falls in love, she falls hard. She IS the kind to wear her heart on her sleeve. A Pisces girl in love wants to give of herself completely: mind, body, and soul.

Without a doubt, this intense depth of feeling has brought her heartache in the past. Though love would have her believe otherwise, not everyone knows how to handle the fervor of her emotions. So she learns to take baby-steps and guard closely until she feels her crush can be fully trusted.

Before you storm off in a huff, here are some things you can do to inspire her to open up a little more:

7 Reasons Why Pisces Girls Are Sexy

Posted by The Pisces Girl in To Be A Pisces on Tuesday Mar 15, 2011

One of the more popular curiosities of the Pisces girl is her sex appeal. She’s got it, and many out there would like to know why.

Simple answer is she was born with it. Even Pisces girls who aren’t conventionally pretty have got that certain something to make heads turn.

Growing up, I’ve always been on the fluffier side, bigger than all of my friends and horribly insecure about it. Yet, despite having a bad case of the chubs, I’ve never been without admirers. Sure, they weren’t always the ones I wanted, but I had them anyways.

The first time I can distinctly remember a boy really taking a liking to me was in the first grade. I’ll never forget it. He came straight up to me, grinning ear to ear, and told me “I like your big forehead.” Like that was supposed to be a compliment! After that, I thought he was a jerk.  But he would continue to hound me until the fourth grade, when he eventually changed schools.

He was only the first of many who would vie for my affections, but I was so insecure I couldn’t really appreciate any of the attention for what it was. Luckily, I can now, and how it makes me look back and smile.

I think many Pisces girls can relate to this feeling. This understanding that she attracts, but most times, she is just as in awe of it as the observer. So, what gives?

Here are 7 reasons why I think Pisces girls have got sex-appeal:

12 Reasons Why This Pisces Girl Loves Her Aries Man

Posted by The Pisces Girl in To Be A Pisces on Monday Jan 31, 2011

For those who are interested, Schwabs just so happens to be an Aries. The Ram.

Astrologically speaking, we are supposed to be one of most romantic couplings in the zodiac-a real prince meets princess story. Though, we also couldn’t be more opposite. We literally fall on opposite ends of the zodiac scale. He is the very first sign, and Pisces is the very last. I’ve read up a lot on our pairing and some say its a match made in heaven, while others say we are too different to last.

In the end, I say only WE decide how our love story goes.

I can vouch that being married to an Aries man is not always easy. But he could say the same goes for a Pisces girl. While I cannot deny that we are very different people, the payoff to being married to my Aries man far outweigh our differences. Everyday, he shows me the kind of love fairy tales are made of. He really is my prince charming.

So, here are just a few more reasons why I love my Aries Man.

1. He Has a Wicked Sense of Humor
It’s a little bit sarcastic mixed with quick wit and silliness. I can’t exactly explain it, but it puts me ease almost instantly.

2. He’s a Manly Man
He goes after what he wants with boldness, he’s chivalrous, he protects and provides, he takes out the trash, he watches football and drinks beer with his buddies…He’s a guy’s guy in every sense of the phrase and has no shame in it. It’s the perfect compliment to my girlie-ness. I wouldn’t want it any other way.

3. He Lets Me Be Me
It’s no secret that on any given day, I can be one of a million different things depending on my mood. No matter who I am, what my mood is, or what quirk I show him that day, he always accepts me for the chameleon that I am.

Posted by The Pisces Girl in To Be A Pisces on Wednesday Dec 1, 2010

Christmas Time is right around the corner and some of you may be wondering what you can buy for the pisces girl in your life. Here are some gift ideas suited for her pisces sensibilities.

1. A pretty bottle of quality perfume- She loves feeling like a lady and this will inject a little elegance into her world.

2. Jewelry- She is the ultimate girlie girl who likes to sparkle, but she also appreciates the sentiment that is attached with such a gift. She will like that you took to the time to pick out something you thought would look nice on her.

3. Books, Books, Books – A pisces girl will love the escape and learning that comes from a book. Some topics that may interest a pisces: art, photography, the spiritual and mystical, cookbooks, books about the histories of exotic and far-away places, fashion, interior decor, how-to books, travel, romance novels…pretty much any topic that fires up creativity and imagination.

4. A cashmere (or super-soft) scarf and glove set- Just little tactile luxuries that will ignite her soft and cuddly side.

5. A handmade gift- Offer her up a home cooked meal, a basket of home baked goodies, 1 free hour of babysitting, 1 free hour for a hand and foot massage, a framed photo, a scrapbook, a cd with songlist you created just for her, share your hobby or talent with her (i.e. if you like to write, write her poem, are you a musician? Write her a song, Into Art? Make her a drawing or painting) and she will melt at the gesture. No matter the cost, she places more value on the thought behind the gift.

4.  Tailoring isn’t for just the rich. All bodies are different and clothes should suit each one of them. Make friends with a reasonably priced tailor and visit often.

5.  If you really want to up the drama before you walk out the door, your final touch should be a spritz or two of perfume.

7.  An outfit isn’t really an outfit without the accessories. Accessories are what give your outfit personality.

8.  When at flea markets, resale shops, garage or estate sales, keep an eye out for vintage costume jewelry. It will always be unique, and sometimes, you can get a steal!

Anyone who has ever been through a break-up knows how tough they can be. Forming a bond with another person can be a very special experience and having to dissolve that bond after a break-up can be downright painful. Everyone experiences break-ups in different ways but generally speaking, hurt lies at the core of it all. Knowing how to let go and appropriately deal with that hurt during the aftermath is a lesson that we can all stand to learn.

You know what I mean. We’ve all been there at least once. We’ve all done things that were a little crazy for love’s namesake. And let’s face it, the post break-up period was made for your inner crazy to really shine.

During a break-up, we all need a little reminder that’s okay to hurt. It’s okay to go through the whole range of emotions while you are separating yourself from your ex. However, when you start to the take that hurt to a whole other level of cuckoo, it no longer becomes okay.

You need to take a deep breath, focus, and come up with some better ways for dealing with the painful transition from the notion of  “we” to “me”.  The following are tried and true methods that can be practiced when you are trying to let someone go.
