Well, I ain’t dead yet. That’s for sure.

Please forgive my lack of posts friends. Schwabs has been on vacation for the past week and naturally, so have I. We are out enjoying our time together but all should be back to normal next week.

I have new outfits to show you, more Texas destinations to introduce, more art, and as always, more Pisces topics to discuss-so please stay tuned.

Before I rush out to do some last-minute Christmas shopping, I’d like to take the time to say Happy Holidays to all of my friends out there in internet land. Christmas has got to be my favorite holiday, I hope you’ll enjoy yours as much as I’ll enjoy mine.

When I launched this site a few months ago, I didn’t expect to receive as warm of a welcome as I have. I am grateful for everyone who has taken the time to visit the site-and for my visitors who continue to come back. Thank you for embracing this crazy brainchild of mine and for inspiring me to keep making it better. 2010 has been quite a ride, I’m excited to have you all join me-and lets see what 2011 has is store for us.

If you are reading this today, more than likely you are my friends and family, who I have been hounding for months and months about “my upcoming blog”.

For those of you lucky souls who just happened to stumble across this site, Welcome. Please kick off your shoes, take your hand off that mouse, and stay awhile. I’m about to introduce myself to you.

I am The Pisces Girl: blogger, big time dreamer and creative-person spirit.

The purpose of my starting this website is to first and foremost, entertain my readers on various topics that may interest both the Pisces and Non-Pisces alike: love and relationships, friendship, family, spirituality, travel, beauty, art, fashion and anything else that pops up in this brain of my mine.

Make no mistake, I’m not just a pretty keyboard throwing fluff at you. If you want that, try TMZ. I am a soul, damn-it, with big ideas, stories and observations running around in my head, just dying for a place to be heard.

Enter, the beautiful world of blogging…

The second purpose for this website is to inspire you to live a happier, more positive life.  This is not to say that everything I post will be positive-sometimes, life sucks. Plus, I never said I was a saint. I carry a reputation for having a potty mouth, I’m sarcastic, sassy, a bit brash, and generally, not afraid to speak my mind.

If living life has taught me anything, it’s that happiness takes work. I have seen that it can become a little easier to achieve if you approach life with a sense of humor and the belief that you can transform into the person you want to be-by learning from every moment.

In my short, 28 years of life, I can promise you that I have made plenty of mistakes. My hope for both myself and my readers is that we can learn from them and perhaps, become a better people because of them.

I cannot promise you that I’ll always be insightful, or inspirational, or even funny. The only thing I CAN promise is that with a clear purpose in mind, I will share my journey with you- including all of life’s ups and downs-from the heart.

Well people, I’m having a hell-of-a-time trying to design my very own blog. No wonder why web designers get paid the big bucks, this is hard work!  Too bad I’m cheap and in true Pisces fashion-determined to set up my blog myself-even if it kills me first (at this rate, it just might).

Which explains my current tragic “Under Construction” situation.

No fear, future readers,  I’m working hard to bring you a site that will make you laugh, make you cry, inspire debate and discussion and if nothing else, help you kill a few hours at work.
